The Best Messenger Bags For Men

When you think of carrying around a bag as a guy, you probably think of a backpack, or something that's fairly manly. If that sounds like you, you're probably not alone. The worst feeling / fear is having people judge you in public. The last thing that you want is to have someone think that the bag that you have is too "girly."
In today's world, there are a plenty of bags out there that are designed for men. So long are the briefcases and backpacks. If you're going to bring these to your workplace, you're going to silly. If you're somewhat on top of things, when it comes to fashion, you're going to want something that works for you. You don't want to have something that spells out 1982.
If you're in the market to find a messenger bag for yourself, there are a few things that you can consider...GPS Tracking
It has to be comfortable - You don't want to buy a bag, put the shoulder bag on and find out that the strap is just rubbing your shoulder raw. Instead, you will want a nice strap that's either made of gel, or something that's going to keep you comfortable. You don't want all of that weight leaning on your shoulder all day long.
Quality - This goes with comfort, but if you're like me and you like to spend as little as possible on things, you're going to get what you pay for. I can't stress this enough about bags. You don't want to be cheap, because you will find later down the line that it will rip, or won't get the job done.
Accessories - Yes, bags have accessories. From things such as cell phone holders, to things that can strap your bag and laptop. All bags aren't created equal. Know what you're going to carry around and see if these bags are going to work out for you.
When you're ready to compare, look at reviews, as well as price compare. There are a lot of brands out there. Some of the best brands out there are JanSport, Rothco, Projectart, Bally, and more. When it comes to quality, a review is worth a thousand words.

Corral Boots Make a Fashionable Statement

To make a great fashion statement turn to cowboy boots. The versatility of cowboy boots allows them to be worn all year long. During the summer months, pair your boots with a nice light dress or skirt. In the winter, boots can be worn with a pair of dark bootcut jeans. Cowboy boots can really be the piece of your outfit that can set you apart from the crowd. I have selected these Corral ladies' cowboy boots just to show that even within a brand there is a great deal of different styles, textures and materials.

The handmade Corral boots have some of the same qualities that a Justin,Tony Lama or an Ariat boot have, but also some unique and not so typical features. The different design elements give the Corral boots their own style. I will start with a more classically styled cowboy boot. This 11-inch boot is crafted from Brown Nahm leather and features some light distressing. The pointed toe, which is a classic feature, really spotlines the fancy toe stitching. No boot would be complete without an elegant leather upper and of course this boot does not disappoint. This is a very versatile boot that can really be paired with anything. I would recommend that if you do not own a pair of cowboy boots to pick up a pair of these boots because they make a great first pair because they are extremely versatile.

Quick Features:
Brown distressed nahm w/ fancy toe stitch
11 inch brown distressed nahm top with fancy stitch
Sharp point x toe
2 1/8 inch heel
Regular insole
Leather outsole

Next, I will move on to a very distinctive boot with a little more pizazz. This boot is made by Corral as well but features a more innate design and a wilder, more electric look. The Ladies' Mad Dog Goat Boot has some of the same features as the Nahm boot like the light distressing but that's where the comparisons stop. These hot rods feature a black and red leather upper with a wing tipped brown toe to that really sets off the black and red on rest of the boot. The Mad Dog can be dressed up to go out and paint the town red or dressed down to suit a more casual setting.

Saddle Bags - A Horse Riding Necessity

Saddle bags are called such because they were used on either side of a horse's saddle they were necessary pouches used to carry supplies and equipment when horse travel was the primary mode of transport. These bags were primarily hand crafted from leather and were often times very ornate with silver Conchos and beading. The more ornate the wealthier the rider was. These were status symbols of sorts. These types of bags are still used by folks who ride horses; they have however lost some of their necessity. They are largely favored by true equestrians that take long trail rides with their horses. Another type of saddle bag is the type that is used by motorcyclists to hold their personal gear while they are on the road. For the purposes of this article, however, we will stick to the true saddle bag that is meant for using in equestrian circles.

Fashionable

There was a trend in hand bags that mimicked the saddle bags of days gone by. Theses over sized purses were made to be slung over the shoulder and lay flat against the wearer's side. They hung right to the hip. They were very popular during the nineteen nineties and you will still see them every now and again as the trend tries to revive itself.

These types of bags were often made of leather but were also made in the less expensive canvas.

Where to Purchase

You can purchase these types of bags that are used for their true calling through most any tack shop. A tack shop is a dealer in leather goods for horses. You can find a tack shop online which is probably a lot easier than trying to find one locally. You can also find saddle bags at other online vendors. It is far more likely that you will find these items online than it is that you will find them in any local shop unless of course you live in an equestrian high area.

The cost is largely dependent on the style that you choose and whether it is hand or machine made. Typically they are sold in pairs so you will be getting a set of bags. This type of bag will usually last a lifetime. They are actually better looking the more worn in they are.

Saddle bags really come in handy when you have a load to carry and you are on horseback. They are probably a lot less necessary today than they were say one hundred and fifty years ago or so, but that depends on who you ask. If you are on a long trail ride it is great to be able to reach into the bag and pull out a cool drink.

Saddle bags have gone through some transformation over the years from being an extremely necessary item to something nice to have and they did have a short stint as a very fashionable ladies hand bag. They have been around for a long time and it seems like they will stay put for a long time.
